first_imgA Letterkenny man ran out of a house and threatened to fight with three Gardai.John McGinley, of Glenwood Park, was visited by Gardai on August 6th last.When Gardai called at the house, a man gave them a two fingered sign before a woman answered the door. While speaking to the woman, a highly-intoxicated man ran down the stairs forcing Gardai to back off.The man, identified as John McGinley, took off his shirt and took up a boxing stance against Gardai.He was immediately pepper-sprayed and incapacitated by the Gardai.Solicitor Michael Shiel said his client’s brother had been killed tragically in a car accident the previous day.
