first_imgNewcastle United boss has praised the form of Ayoze Perez but insisted the youngster still has plenty to learn before he earns a regular starting berth.The Spaniard, 20, joined the club in the summer from Tenerife after an exceptional season in the Segunda Division where he scored 16 goals in 34 games.But Alan Pardew has admitted he didn’t expect the starlet to make an immediate impact in his first-team and has insisted he is still too raw for the Premier League despite scoring winning goals against Tottenham and Liverpool in the same week.He said: “[Ayoze Perez’s] game is not ready for the Premier League, in terms of holding it up, and maybe he could keep possession a little bit better at times but he’s just got a goal in him and with the way the game was unfolding I knew we would get a chance.”“Perez had such a week that I just felt if anything falls for him he’s going to put it away [against Liverpool].
