Newcastle transfer blow! Magpies target has ‘no intension of leaving Napoli’, insists agent

first_img1 Newcastle have been dealt a transfer blow after the agent of January target Kalidou Koulibaly revealed his client has no intention of leaving Napoli.Newcastle have been strongly linked with the towering Senegalese centre-back, who arrived in Naples from Genk last year.The 24-year-old has impressed over his first 40 Serie A outings and talk has already turned to an improved contract at the club.But it has been reported that the Toon Army were ready to test Napoli’s resolve to keep him by making a move for his services when the transfer window opens.But now Bruno Satin has told the north east giants to look elsewhere with Koulibaly keen to stay at Napoli for now.Satin told Tutto Napoli: “Napoli has always been the first choice of Kalidou. He wants to stay to reach great levels in Naples, and wanted to prove to coach  to earn a starting role.“We are not concerned about his contract.
