IPL 2019: Dale Steyn returns for RCB after 9 years but no AB de Villiers vs KKR

Royal Challengers Bangalore need to win all their matches from hereon if they harbour any hopes of making it to the playoffs.Dale Steyn had last played for RCB in the IPL on April 24, 2010 against Deccan Chargers. He had taken 1 for 11 off 3 overs and RCB had won. 9 years ago, Steyn had played 15 matches for the Royal Challengers and picked 15 wickets with a best of 3 for 18.In 2011, Dale Steyn moved to Deccan Chargers before playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad from 2013 to 2015. In 2016, he played 1 game for Gujarat Lions but did not feature in the next two editions of the Indian Premier League.Meanwhile, in a big blow to RCB, AB de Villiers was ruled out of a crucial match against Kolkata Knight Riders. In the first match between the two teams in the 2019 Indian Premier League, de Villiers had scored a 32-ball 63 but RCB still lost by 5 wickets after an Andre Russell assault.In the 2019 IPL, AB de Villiers has scored 307 runs including 4 fifties from 8 matches.
